Water Inside a Warehouse

In a furniture warehouse, there was a problem with the drainage. Whenever it would rain all the water would come in and stay on the floor with no place to go. The owners got tired of worrying about their furniture getting ruined every time it rained so they called us and we got them a bid. We gave them a proposal to re-grade the landscape so the water would stop pooling in low spots on the property. We created a 5% slope away from the building that slowly flattened out towards the end of the property. We installed five 15” catch basins in between buildings for the water to drain into. Installing the storm sewer pipe required a trench about 220’ long. After installing the pipe it had to get backfilled and compacted in order for it to work properly. Last step was clean up and reinstall landscape rock.
